Ashley and Paul are two of the radest people I know! I had so much fun getting to know them and I am honored that they chose me to photograph their special day. After their engagement session I took them to my favorite sushi restaurant in SLC for dinner and enjoyed hearing the stories of how they met and how Paul proposed. I am so happy for them, they are perfect for each other.

I met up with Sydney at the Salt Flats this past Saturday to capture some images for her portfolio. I have had the privilege of photographing Sydney before and I can honestly say that she is one of the kindest people I have ever met. I look forward to many more shoots with her. Utah Jazz fans may recognize Sydney for being one on the Utah Jazz Dance team.
When I was editing the images from Sydney’s shoot I showed them to my daughter Bentley who is also a dancer and she told me that she wanted to be a Jazz Dancer when she grows up. “I’m going to practice every day” she told me. She has more determination than any kid I have ever met so I’m sure if she really wants to, she’ll be able to do it.
I am so grateful for all the men and women serving in our armed forces who risk their lives to protect the many freedoms that my family and I enjoy every day! We are truly blessed to live in such a wonderful country where we can worship as we wish, express ourselves as we like and travel freely across this beautiful nation. If you or someone you love is serving in the armed forces I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! My family and I greatly appreciate your sacrifice!

I look forward to the days that I get to spend with my family. You know, those days when you have nowhere to be and no plans. Kids running in and out of the house each trip ends with the door left wide open because their hands are full of the sugar snacks they just pillaged from the pantry. Yeah, those are the days that I love the most. Today just happened to be one of those days and it was AWESOME!!! I got to spend some much needed time with my super sexy wife Becca and our amazing offspring 
We just hung out all day, took two walks… oh yeah and did a quick photoshoot.
Becca is not only the sexiest woman on the planet, she is also my muse! I keep trying to talk her into shooting with me, hopefully one of these days she will!!!

Sydney’s session was so amazing that she’s now taking over the blog. I have never photographed at this location before but after this session I think it is one of my all time fav’s in downtown SLC… we had so many different options to work with in such a close proximity.
Just a quick fun fact about Sydney… she is one of the Utah Jazz dancers, you may have seen her on TV before if you watch any of the Jazz games.

We found this old run down 1969 Mercedes in one of the ally’s we were shooting in. It was filthy inside but that didn’t phase Sydney… she’s such a good sport!
