The photographers family is always the last to get their portraits made. I’ll be honest, photographing your own children (it may just be my kids) is no easy feat because they get tired of their crazy dad always putting his camera in their faces. I’m probably the only one who has this challenge right? 🙂 I accepted this fact a few years ago and I have adapted for my kids and now I always have my camera with me so that I can make my children’s portraits as they are eating breakfast or playing with their friends or whatever it is that they are doing at the moment. Even still, Becca and I have been wanting to photograph them at an amazing orchard not to far from our house so a couple of days ago we decided to pack them up and cross our fingers.
